Timoteo Bernad started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bonifacio Cresconio in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Behe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cecilio Elixio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Melquiades Salvatore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Ermegildo Quinten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Melquiades Salvatore was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Cresconio in the 17th minute of play forced BERMEJO's goalkeeper Joaquin Behe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Bonifacio Cresconio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Bonifacio Cresconio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters rose to their feet, but Bonifacio Cresconio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Behe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bonifacio Cresconio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquin Behe was a little too slow when Artemio Jaunti got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 1-1. Club Atlético Atlanta's Bonifacio Cresconio got his second yellow card of the match in the 36th minute. The referee ordered Bonifacio Cresconio off the ground. The supporters of BERMEJO booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonifacio Cresconio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Artemio Jaunti was the one to do the kick off. When Artemio Jaunti came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Club Atlético Atlanta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artemio Jaunti couldn't finish the play. In the 55th minute, Artemio Jaunti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Joaquin Behe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artemio Jaunti, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Rene Luzea got a free kick in the 86th minute. When Timoteo Bernad fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BERMEJO's protests and gave Timoteo Bernad a yellow card for diving instead. After 88 played minutes BERMEJO got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Bernad. After having played for 93 minutes, Severino Huly managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Huly was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Club Atlético Atlanta's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
