The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, El Retorno de Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Iraitz to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, El Retorno de Palermo's Dionisio Eutor got a free kick in the 7th minute. Saturnino Igon was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Omar Hotz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Omar Hotz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Saturnino Igon made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Higinio Luzea sent off a good shot on target. Higinio Luzea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Saturnino Igon made a huge save. 18 minutes into the game, Higinio Luzea lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Saturnino Igon. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Iraitz in the 25th minute of play forced Estrellas de Caballito's goalkeeper Nunez Astudillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th match minute, Estrellas de Caballito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Hotz to maneuver through the defense. Omar Hotz did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Saturnino Igon 29 minutes into the match. Higinio Luzea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Saturnino Igon made a huge save. Saturnino Igon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Hotz, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Estrellas de Caballito's Omar Hotz got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Omar Hotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the game, Estrellas de Caballito's Higinio Luzea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Saturnino Igon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victor Lehior stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, El Retorno de Palermo's Nunez Astudillo threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Victor Lehior, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 60 played minutes Estrellas de Caballito got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Refugio. Alberto Refugio kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Nunez Astudillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasio Salvidor in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, El Retorno de Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Fanuco came free, but Saturnino Igon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 68 minutes of play, Estrellas de Caballito's Higinio Luzea made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saturnino Igon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Higinio Luzea scored 6-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saturnino Igon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anastasio Salvidor kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 7-0 became the score in the 82nd minute when Omar Hotz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Anastasio Salvidor got his second yellow card in the match during the 86th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Luzea in the 91st minute of play forced El Retorno de Palermo's goalkeeper Saturnino Igon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aquiles Cordearo during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, El Retorno de Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Cordearo to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match, El Retorno de Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Hotz came free, but Saturnino Igon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Higinio Luzea scored 8-0 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saturnino Igon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Estrellas de Caballito were the better team. Estrellas de Caballito's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
