Hipolito Chus started the match with the kick off. If Guido Izotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iker Balasi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Bras, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After 9 minutes, Hipolito Chus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CA Juventud Unida and the Celestiales players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hipolito Chus kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Guido Izotz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celestino Isusko. CA Juventud Unida's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guido Izotz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Guido Izotz came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Celestiales fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guido Izotz couldn't finish the play. CA Juventud Unida's Celestino Isusko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Izotz in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Felipillo in the 29th minute of play forced CA Juventud Unida's goalkeeper Celestino Isusko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luciano Astigar charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luciano Astigar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th minute, Luciano Astigar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Federico Presebal kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Hipolito Chus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Balasi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hipolito Chus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Iker Balasi made a huge save. Luciano Astigar was shown his second yellow card after 47 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Celestiales getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Luciano Astigar hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guido Izotz made a kick off. Celestiales's Iker Balasi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Bras in the 69th minute of play. Federico Presebal kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Guido Izotz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, CA Juventud Unida's Carmelo Hechter got a free kick in the 76th minute. CA Juventud Unida's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Guido Izotz scored to the left of an out of position Celestino Isusko, making the score, 0-2. 86 minutes into the game, Ciro Iratze was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Celestiales's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CA Juventud Unida the free kick. After 86 played minutes Celestiales got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Iratze. Ermegildo Eufemio charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ermegildo Eufemio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 89th minute, Ermegildo Eufemio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iker Balasi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hipolito Chus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 93 played minutes CA Juventud Unida got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Hechter. Celestino Isusko was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Fabio Munio. Albano Felipillo hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Celestiales's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
