Barrilete Cósmico's Anselmo Asur quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hermengildo Olivar, made in the 7th minute of the game. In the 8th minute, Jacobo Basualdo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benicio Poz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Amadeo Belmiro fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Congo Bongo's protests and gave Amadeo Belmiro a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes Congo Bongo got a freekick which was hit by Jacobo Raymon. Amador Mundo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramiro Blai went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Ramiro Blai took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Amador Mundo. Barrilete Cósmico's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 26 minutes, Pedro Regis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Congo Bongo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Regis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 31 minutes, Anselmo Asur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barrilete Cósmico and the Congo Bongo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anselmo Asur kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Ramiro Blai hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the game, Ramiro Blai cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Amador Mundo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Amador Mundo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramiro Blai in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the game, Ramiro Blai lined in a short shot 5-1 behind a frustrated Amador Mundo. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramiro Blai stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Barrilete Cósmico's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Blai came free, but Amador Mundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramiro Blai in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amador Mundo saved Barrilete Cósmico from getting behind. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Ramiro Blai sped through Barrilete Cósmico's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Amador Mundo. Ramiro Blai scored 7-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amador Mundo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Barrilete Cósmico defense, Pedro Regis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amador Mundo. The Barrilete Cósmico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amador Mundo should have stopped the shot. Barrilete Cósmico's Amador Mundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Blai in the 71st minute of play. After 73 minutes, Ramiro Blai made it 9-1 with a short kick to the right side. Barrilete Cósmico's Amador Mundo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 76 minutes into the match, Barrilete Cósmico's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Blai came free, but Amador Mundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amador Mundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Blai in the 80th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Pedro Regis notched a goal, 10-1, to the right of Barrilete Cósmico's Amador Mundo. Amador Mundo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Amador Mundo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramiro Blai's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Barrilete Cósmico's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Blai came free, but Amador Mundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Blai in the 88th minute of play forced Barrilete Cósmico's goalkeeper Amador Mundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Congo Bongo booed when Barrilete Cósmico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Basualdo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the game, Congo Bongo's Ramiro Blai nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amador Mundo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-1. Amador Mundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Regis in the 96th minute of play. Barrilete Cósmico's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
