Albino Hitz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Astor Kepa. 32 minutes into the game, one of AC LeX Luthor:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Alfonso Weather could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Albino Hitz made a huge save. Astor Kepa kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The supporters of San Martin de Tucuman booed when AC LeX Luthor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albano Cortez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th match minute, AC LeX Luthor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Elazar to maneuver through the defense. Albino Hitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Epifanio Paulin's shot from short distance in the 48th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfonso Weather was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute, Geronimo Bernaldo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Martin de Tucuman fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0.
