The SAN MARTIN F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when SAN MARTIN F.C.'s Braulio Chago looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Constantino Rodriguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Roland in the 10th minute of play. Amado Estavan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Constantino Rodriguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Constantino Rodriguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Roland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Constantino Rodriguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Roland in the 20th minute of play. Constantino Rodriguez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Braulio Chago, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Constantino Rodriguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Estavan in the 35th minute of play. Fausto Argider who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Maximiliano Astudillo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Academia FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Jairo Cordarin hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute of the match Braulio Chago sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Constantino Rodriguez skillfully saved the ball. Academia FC were furious when Gogo Tximitx was red carded, 44 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee gave SAN MARTIN F.C. a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Braulio Chago, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Academia FC's Constantino Rodriguez. 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Abelardo Roland made the kick off in the second half. Constantino Rodriguez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amado Estavan in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute, Amado Estavan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Constantino Rodriguez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Amado Estavan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Constantino Rodriguez firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Amado Estavan got free in front of the goal in the 67th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Constantino Rodriguez was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Academia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Roland came free, but Constantino Rodriguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Ignacio Orland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Academia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SAN MARTIN F.C. the free kick. After 70 played minutes Academia FC got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Orland. Constantino Rodriguez came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by SAN MARTIN F.C.'s Amado Estavan. But to his dismay, Amado Estavan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Constantino Rodriguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Roland in the 75th minute of the match. A collision led to Academia FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Ignacio Orland hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute of the match, Braulio Chago got a very nice opportunity to score, but Constantino Rodriguez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, Academia FC's Constantino Rodriguez got control of the ball when Amado Estavan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amado Estavan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Constantino Rodriguez firmly grabbed it by the left post. Academia FC's Constantino Rodriguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Chago in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd play minute Amado Estavan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Constantino Rodriguez. 0-5. Constantino Rodriguez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amado Estavan in the 96th minute. Constantino Rodriguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Roland in the 99th minute of play.
