The referee showed Leon Ponce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th match minute, Academia Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Ponce to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Fernando Nafarroa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celedonio Ezkerras short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Javier Fero to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Celedonio Ezkerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Javier Fero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pascual Norino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigio Jerano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, PATADAS S.A's Valentin Cloyo got a free kick in the 47th minute. Pascual Norino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Mark, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodolfo Laffitte made a kick off. Academia Club's Javier Fero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Laffitte in the 57th minute of play. In the 60th minute of the match, Remigio Jerano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pascual Norino saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Blas Mirande hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match.
