Emanuel Argoitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Policarpio, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The supporters of VAMO ARRIBA booed when MDQ Raptors FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Camerino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anselmo Santo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Albano Rameriz made a huge save. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind VAMO ARRIBA's goalkeeper Emanuel Argoitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 55 played minutes MDQ Raptors FC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Niguel. In the 57th minute Jeremias Policarpio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Argoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, VAMO ARRIBA's Emanuel Argoitz got control of the ball when Jeremias Policarpio tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in MDQ Raptors FC's zone, Carmelo Montez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albano Rameriz came out of the goal and Carmelo Montez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. VAMO ARRIBA succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though MDQ Raptors FC had controlled the match.
