An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Pani in the 28th minute of play forced La Herradura FC's goalkeeper Maximino Polo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximino Polo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Pani, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Natalio Mitxaut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejo Asier in the 29th minute of play. The corner led La Herradura FC's Cosme Oliveiro to fire away a dangerous shot which Natalio Mitxaut despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Maximino Polo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernabe Dacio went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 36th minute, Bernabe Dacio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximino Polo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 42 minutes into the match, La Herradura FC's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Pani came free, but Maximino Polo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernabe Dacio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carlos Platon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulises Laurendi charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulises Laurendi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, La Herradura FC's Maximino Polo got control of the ball when Niceto Bernad tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th minute, Niceto Bernad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Remigio Gelacio hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the La Herradura FC defense, Niceto Bernad kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximino Polo. The La Herradura FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximino Polo should have stopped the shot. In the 76th minute, Carlos Platon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute, 1989 Blxsk's Niceto Bernad ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maximino Polo. Maximino Polo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. A collision led to 1989 Blxsk getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Filiberto Manni hit a great ball. 1989 Blxsk's Carlos Platon got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Remigio Gelacio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, 1989 Blxsk's Maximino Polo threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Niceto Bernad, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 89 minutes into the match, La Herradura FC's goalkeeper Maximino Polo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernabe Dacio.
