But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Lando couldn't finish the play. Humberto Cordarell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Anibal Fidencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute Enrique Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Lapurdi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel Gorbea hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. A collision led to Psycho-Circus getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. German Manilan hit a great ball. After having played for 22 minutes, Humberto Cordarell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Psycho-Circus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Humberto Cordarell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Atilano Medardo made a precise shot to the right of Nicolas Lapurdi. Psycho-Circus's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 37 minutes into the match, Eusebio Paskal notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Psycho-Circus's Nicolas Lapurdi. Nicolas Lapurdi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Salmuera CP were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eusebio Paskal was the one to do the kick off. After 60 played minutes Psycho-Circus got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Lando. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Valerio in the 64th minute of play forced Psycho-Circus's goalkeeper Nicolas Lapurdi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 75th minute of the match Leon Vargas completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Leon Vargas a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 75 played minutes Salmuera CP got a freekick which was hit by Leon Vargas. 76 minutes into the match, Psycho-Circus's Humberto Cordarell broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Nicolas Lapurdi acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 79th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Samuel Gorbea. Humberto Cordarell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Fidencio having to interfere. Jose Cruz struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Anibal Fidencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Psycho-Circus. 89 minutes into the match, Psycho-Circus's Jose Cruz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anibal Fidencio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrique Marques in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolas Lapurdi saved Psycho-Circus from getting behind. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Salmuera CP had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
