Bernabe Rolado scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Conrado Atarratze, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Conrado Atarratze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernabe Rolado, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Koen Van der Hoeven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Cuenca having to interfere. La Coruña FC's Conrado Atarratze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernabe Rolado in the 26th minute of play. Conrado Atarratze came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by TALLERES's Bernabe Rolado. But to his dismay, Bernabe Rolado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Bernabe Rolado took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Conrado Atarratze. Conrado Atarratze dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In a very dangerous position, a player in La Coruña FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! Mario Cuenca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koen Van der Hoeven, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After 45 minutes of play, TALLERES's Bernabe Rolado made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Conrado Atarratze was left in no man's land by his defense there! The La Coruña FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. TALLERES were winning 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Koen Van der Hoeven was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Saul Fonso could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Conrado Atarratze however easily saved by the left post. Cesar Obano lost his temper 57 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Cesar Obano hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Mauricio Ruisko from long distance, 59 minutes into the match, got Conrado Atarratze's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Bernabe Rolado sped through La Coruña FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Conrado Atarratze. In the 64th minute, TALLERES's Teobaldo Txordon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. Alberto Laffitte took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mario Cuenca. Mario Cuenca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. Mario Cuenca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koen Van der Hoeven in the 76th minute of play. Mario Cuenca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Laffitte in the 77th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Teobaldo Txordon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Atarratze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Koen Van der Hoeven blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mario Cuenca having to make a save. 86 minutes into the match, Saul Fonso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Conrado Atarratze. La Coruña FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saul Fonso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-8. When the final whistle went the supporters of TALLERES were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant La Coruña FC side.
