Genaro Mattin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Joel Estevon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Celta de Virgos's Genaro Mattin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iker Jon in the 14th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Iker Jon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the game, Celta de Virgos's Damaso Marcones nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gervasio Efren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Genaro Mattin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iker Jon in the 34th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Estevon in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Genaro Mattin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Roque Bermudez fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's protests and gave Roque Bermudez a yellow card for diving instead. Godfredo Batista was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 40th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to Celta de Virgos getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Salvador Farias hit a great ball. Pastor Gitano was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 47th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damaso Marcones was the one to do the kick off. Genaro Mattin came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Iker Jon. But to his dismay, Iker Jon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 55th minute, Gonzalo Natal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.U.E. DE COMERCIO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. 58 minutes into the game, Joel Estevon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Genaro Mattin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 70 played minutes C.U.E. DE COMERCIO got a freekick which was hit by Iker Jon. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Efrain Gil was substituted for Iker Jon. Iker Jon kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 77th match minute, C.U.E. DE COMERCIO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Dunixi to maneuver through the defense. Celta de Virgos's Genaro Mattin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Estevon in the 81st minute of play. Genaro Mattin came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Gonzalo Natal. But to his dismay, Gonzalo Natal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. In the 88th minute, Efrain Gil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Genaro Mattin was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. Genaro Mattin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Gil in the 91st minute of play. Damaso Marcones could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Gervasio Efren made a huge save. Damaso Marcones received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gervasio Efren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roque Bermudez hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
