Ildefonso Gumaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilario Manny in the 8th minute of play. After 8 played minutes C. A. DEPORTIVO NAHUEL got a freekick which was hit by Feliciano Ibañez. Arquímedes's Rosendo Cayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Burni in the 14th minute of play. Agustin Burni took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rosendo Cayo. Rosendo Cayo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 28 minutes into the match, Bonifacio Bertin notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of C. A. DEPORTIVO NAHUEL's Ildefonso Gumaro. Ildefonso Gumaro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Bonifacio Bertin came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Arquímedes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bonifacio Bertin couldn't finish the play. Gavino Dorio took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rosendo Cayo. Rosendo Cayo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 40th minute of the match, Cosme Lucila sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Ildefonso Gumaro showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. A collision led to C. A. DEPORTIVO NAHUEL getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Agustin Burni hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 53rd match minute, Arquímedes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Ganix to maneuver through the defense. Ildefonso Gumaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Bertin in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Burni in the 62nd minute of play forced Arquímedes's goalkeeper Rosendo Cayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustin Burni got free with Rosendo Cayo in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 68 minutes into the match, Arquímedes's goalkeeper Rosendo Cayo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustin Burni. Rosendo Cayo came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by C. A. DEPORTIVO NAHUEL's Agustin Burni. But to his dismay, Agustin Burni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Arquímedes's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Agustin Burni scored to the left of an out of position Rosendo Cayo, making the score, 1-5. Rosendo Cayo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romulo Dabi in the 78th minute. In the 82nd minute Agustin Burni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Cayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ildefonso Gumaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Gaspard in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Silvestre Estefan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Enrique Peli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the game, Arquímedes's Bonifacio Bertin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ildefonso Gumaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. Hilario Manny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. C. A. DEPORTIVO NAHUEL had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
