Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cornelio Constancio to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Ascacibar-Pérez's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Abajas came free, but Ladislao Endira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ascacibar-Pérez booed when LiBeRiA F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fermin Porfiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Ismael Vela dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hernan Silbestre, 2-3. When Mauro Abajas fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LiBeRiA F.C.'s protests and gave Mauro Abajas a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to LiBeRiA F.C. getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Mauro Abajas hit a great ball. Ascacibar-Pérez played a much better game than LiBeRiA F.C. and deserved their victory. The LiBeRiA F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
