The supporters of Club Deportivo Español booed when WINNING ELEVEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guido Bartoleme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ezequiel Salvadore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Ortle having to interfere. Norberto Raymundo kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Horacio Urki struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Feliberto Ortle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Deportivo Español. Feliberto Ortle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Salvadore, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 41st minute, WINNING ELEVEN's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aureliano Maore fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.

If Saturnino Nuñez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, WINNING ELEVEN's Tadeo Oxarra threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Saturnino Nuñez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Maore in the 60th minute of play forced WINNING ELEVEN's goalkeeper Feliberto Ortle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Club Deportivo Español getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Santiago Raulo hit a great ball. Adan Francho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tadeo Oxarra came out and tried to block the shot, but Adan Francho slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 66th minute. Club Deportivo Español's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Adan Francho scored to the left of an out of position Tadeo Oxarra, making the score, 0-3. In the 76th minute, Rigoberto Hechter reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tadeo Oxarra. The goal made the score 0-4. If Edelmiro Savier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tadeo Oxarra made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Vladimiro Elizardo sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th match minute, WINNING ELEVEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicanor Santana to maneuver through the defense. If Saturnino Nuñez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Club Deportivo Español fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. WINNING ELEVEN were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
