The audience was convinced that Izydor Wicherek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Radomir Malicki was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. 4 minutes into the game, Tadeusz Giertych was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Spartan FC Mogilany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bękarty Wojny the free kick. The supporters of Bękarty Wojny booed when Spartan FC Mogilany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeusz Giertych didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gustaw Kochanowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 26 minutes, Kazimierz Ligas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bękarty Wojny and the Spartan FC Mogilany players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 27 played minutes Bękarty Wojny got a freekick which was hit by Kazimierz Ligas. 37 minutes into the game, Bękarty Wojny's Kazimierz Ligas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Radomir Malicki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Radomir Malicki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kazimierz Ligas in the 40th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute Kazimierz Ligas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radomir Malicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Spartan FC Mogilany's Radomir Malicki got control of the ball when Boleslaw Trzenzalski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kazimierz Ligas might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Radomir Malicki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kazimierz Ligas ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kazimierz Ligas made a kick off. A collision led to Spartan FC Mogilany getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Cyprian Wyrzykowski hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Spartan FC Mogilany's zone, Izydor Wicherek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radomir Malicki came out of the goal and Izydor Wicherek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Kazimierz Ligas came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Bękarty Wojny fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kazimierz Ligas couldn't finish the play. Spartan FC Mogilany's Radomir Malicki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dariusz Biraga in the 64th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Kazimierz Ligas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Bękarty Wojny's Dariusz Biraga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Radomir Malicki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Bękarty Wojny's Boleslaw Trzenzalski got a free kick in the 76th minute. Dariusz Biraga scored 2-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Radomir Malicki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute, Spartan FC Mogilany's Cyprian Wyrzykowski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dariusz Biraga in the 94th minute of play forced Spartan FC Mogilany's goalkeeper Radomir Malicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Spartan FC Mogilany players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bękarty Wojny.
