Rocio Camerin charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rocio Camerin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th minute, Rocio Camerin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the game, GreenUnited's Florencio Antoniano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Idacio Llopiz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Terciero Orantes in the 46th minute of play forced GreenUnited's goalkeeper Xalbador Gamiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Elija Andres made the kick off in the second half. During the 63rd minute of the match Guaberto Reigada completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Guaberto Reigada a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Xalbador Gamiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loreto Astonzas in the 85th minute of play. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Efrain Caballero got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
