The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jasper Spiering to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Heineken Youths's goalkeeper Bastiaan Carel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Geert Arend de Hoop charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geert Arend de Hoop the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonathan Verweijen took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcel Lammers. Marcel Lammers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. The audience thought a goal was coming when John Stam got free with Marcel Lammers in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 90 minutes in the game, Jonathan Verweijen fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Marcel Lammers having to interfere. 90 minutes into the game, Geert Arend de Hoop recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcel Lammers. Geert Arend de Hoop showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. Marcel Lammers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Youri Mik in the 96th minute of the match. Heineken Youths's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
