Spectators: 190 (Terracing: 143, Seating: 44, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jasper Spiering started the match with the kick off. In the 5th play minute Hendrik Adriaanse came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marcel Lammers. 1-0. In the 10th minute Menno Bodde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Lammers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in De hijgende Hertjes fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! Fred Klasen hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. With a little luck, De hijgende Hertjes's Marcel Lammers got control of the ball when Hendrik Adriaanse tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, De hijgende Hertjes's Gerrit Wiarda got a free kick in the 30th minute. De hijgende Hertjes's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Marco Kiewiet 33 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Marcel Lammers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hendrik Adriaanse in the 36th minute of the match. De Pelgrims's Menno Bodde got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as De Pelgrims's Menno Bodde slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcel Lammers. That made the score 3-0 after 41 minutes of play. After 44 played minutes De Pelgrims got a freekick which was hit by Klaas Jan Baaijen. In the 45th minute Gerrit Wiarda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elbert Plescher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Klaas Jan Baaijen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcel Lammers came out and tried to block the shot, but Klaas Jan Baaijen slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hendrik Adriaanse made a kick off. Marcel Lammers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hendrik Adriaanse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcel Lammers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klaas Jan Baaijen in the 55th minute of the match. Marcel Lammers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Kiewiet in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klaas Jan Baaijen in the 60th minute of play forced De hijgende Hertjes's goalkeeper Marcel Lammers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th match minute, De hijgende Hertjes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerrit Wiarda to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacques Haan during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jacques Haan hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Alfred Mol took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcel Lammers. Marcel Lammers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hendrik Adriaanse, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. De hijgende Hertjes's Marcel Lammers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hendrik Adriaanse in the 68th minute of play. Jochem Warringa charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jochem Warringa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Klaas Jan Baaijen took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcel Lammers. Marcel Lammers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0.
