With a little luck, AVV Zeeburgia's Dirk Jan Snoeks got control of the ball when Donny Dongen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rein Perk hit a great ball. Foeke Waterreus received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dirk Jan Snoeks came out and tried to block the shot, but Foeke Waterreus slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 44th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Foeke Waterreus to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, AVV Zeeburgia's goal looked a bit too open when Foeke Waterreus came free, but Dirk Jan Snoeks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Hans Rolink was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played.
