Luan Lopes made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Rodolfo Torres sent off a good shot on target. 16 minutes into the match, Vágner Sergipano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luan Lopes. Aguinhas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vágner Sergipano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Cristian Vinhas hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Belo Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Raphael Paiva came free, but Rodriguinho Meirelles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Belo Academy's Luan Lopes threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vágner Sergipano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 29 minutes into the match, Belo Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldinho Prata came free, but Rodriguinho Meirelles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Aguinhas booed when Belo Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Vinhas didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raphael Paiva in the 32nd minute of play forced Belo Academy's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Meirelles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 played minutes Aguinhas got a freekick which was hit by Jailson Carvalho. When Belo Academy's Vágner Sergipano in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-0 in the 44th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Luan Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vágner Sergipano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geovanni Linhares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Belo Academy's Vinícius Gerber got a free kick in the 68th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jailson Carvalho got free with Rodriguinho Meirelles in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 75 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Torres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Belo Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aguinhas the free kick. After a rather tough play, Belo Academy's Rodolfo Torres got a free kick in the 76th minute. 3-0 became the score in the 79th minute when Vágner Sergipano elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 82nd match minute, Belo Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Aparecido to maneuver through the defense. Luan Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vágner Sergipano in the 88th minute of play. Aguinhas's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Belo Academy had won, even though Aguinhas had held more of the ball.
