Sávio Campos started the match with the kick off. Reinaldo Abraão hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 3rd minute of the match Natã de Moraes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Matías Botelho skillfully saved the ball. In the 8th minute, Abel Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the match, Sávio Campos notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Vila Industrial FC's Matías Botelho. Matías Botelho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 12th play minute Umberto Cosme came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Matías Botelho. 2-0. The supporters of Florestal Futebol Clube booed when Vila Industrial FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luuk de Jong didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matías Botelho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Umberto Cosme in the 15th minute. The supporters of Vila Industrial FC booed when Florestal Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dagoberto das Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matías Botelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Umberto Cosme in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 26th minute Falcão Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denílson Coutinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matías Botelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sávio Campos, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Sávio Campos took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Matías Botelho to make any attempt to save it. Matías Botelho came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Florestal Futebol Clube's Natã de Moraes. But to his dismay, Natã de Moraes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Falcão Viana to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Faustão Sergipano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Florestal Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vila Industrial FC the free kick. A collision led to Vila Industrial FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Claudinho Pitta hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Florestal Futebol Clube's Dagoberto das Neves got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute Sávio Campos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matías Botelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Vila Industrial FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Neves came free, but Matías Botelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Sávio Campos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matías Botelho was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 63rd minute, Sávio Campos made a precise shot to the right of Matías Botelho. Vila Industrial FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Umberto Cosme charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Umberto Cosme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Matías Botelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sávio Campos in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Sávio Campos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Matías Botelho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 82 minutes into the match, Rafael Cavalcante had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Denílson Coutinho. Florestal Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafael Cavalcante was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. A collision led to Florestal Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Umberto Cosme hit a great ball. Florestal Futebol Clube's Denílson Coutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luuk de Jong in the 86th minute of play. Matías Botelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Umberto Cosme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 90 minutes, Sávio Campos made it 8-1 with a short kick to the right side. Vila Industrial FC's Matías Botelho tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 95th minute, Róbson Bittencourt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience cheered when Natã de Moraes's long shot passed Matías Botelho's right side. It was 9-1, 96 minutes into the match.
