New Loser FC's Eliseu Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinei Goiano in the 4th minute of play. After 6 played minutes Wambalamba FC got a freekick which was hit by Walmir de Queiroz. In the 12th minute, Rubinho Leão made a precise shot to the right of Naldo Mello. Wambalamba FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 18 played minutes Wambalamba FC got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Arantes. After 21 played minutes Wambalamba FC got a freekick which was hit by Belmiro Tinoco. After having played for 27 minutes, Olívio Coutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New Loser FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olívio Coutinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Danilo Leite's late challenge caught a Wambalamba FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Danilo Leite helped the player get up and apologised. Danilo Leite kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After 34 played minutes New Loser FC got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Leite. Eliseu Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabinho Quadros in the 35th minute of play. Gernando Gerber received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eliseu Negri came out and tried to block the shot, but Gernando Gerber slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 44th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evaristo Guimarães stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Naldo Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubinho Leão in the 51st minute of play. Eliseu Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Gabriel Fernandez in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Zé Augusto Magalhães recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Naldo Mello. Zé Augusto Magalhães showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. In the 57th minute Gernando Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danilo Leite kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Evaristo Guimarães charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evaristo Guimarães the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Evaristo Guimarães hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After having played for 67 minutes, Michel Terra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New Loser FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michel Terra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute, New Loser FC's Evaristo Guimarães ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Naldo Mello. Naldo Mello yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Naldo Mello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubinho Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 75 played minutes Wambalamba FC got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Gabriel Fernandez. In the 82nd match minute, Wambalamba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldão da Cunha to maneuver through the defense. Naldo Mello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Guimarães, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. When Tiago Gabriel Fernandez fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wambalamba FC's protests and gave Tiago Gabriel Fernandez a yellow card for diving instead. After 83 played minutes Wambalamba FC got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Gabriel Fernandez. After a defensive mix-up in Wambalamba FC's zone, Evaristo Guimarães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Naldo Mello came out of the goal and Evaristo Guimarães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute Tiago Gabriel Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tarcisio Bezerra hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the New Loser FC defense, Fabinho Quadros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eliseu Negri. The New Loser FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eliseu Negri should have stopped the shot. Although Wambalamba FC had been in control for most of the match, New Loser FC still came away with the win.
