Kauã Munhoz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 7th minute André Proença shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kauã Munhoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, André Proença quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Paulo de Barros fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Floresta Club U18's protests and gave Paulo de Barros a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th match minute, Floresta Club U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo de Barros to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Proença in the 18th minute of play forced Olímpico FC's goalkeeper Kauã Munhoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kauã Munhoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Proença in the 19th minute of play. Gerson de Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 22 in the game by Richard Netto from a close distance when the talented Hudson de Souza managed to make a qualified save. Floresta Club U18's players were relieved. A collision led to Olímpico FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ricardo Freire hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Olímpico FC defense, André Proença kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kauã Munhoz. The Olímpico FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kauã Munhoz should have stopped the shot. In the 27th minute, Emerson Mesquita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kauã Munhoz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Proença in the 28th minute of the match. After 29 minutes, Reginaldo Cruz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olímpico FC and the Floresta Club U18 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, Olímpico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emerson Mesquita to maneuver through the defense. After 34 minutes of play, Floresta Club U18's Diogo Cordeiro made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kauã Munhoz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 38 minutes into the match, Olímpico FC's goal looked a bit too open when André Proença came free, but Kauã Munhoz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 played minutes Olímpico FC got a freekick which was hit by Reginaldo Cruz. Jeremias Peixoto scored 0-5 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kauã Munhoz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and André Proença made a kick off. Kauã Munhoz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogo Cordeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd match minute, Olímpico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emerson Mesquita to maneuver through the defense. Kauã Munhoz made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when André Proença sent off a good shot on target. Olímpico FC's Kauã Munhoz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Olímpico FC from getting a goal against them. After 66 minutes of play, Floresta Club U18's André Proença made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kauã Munhoz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kauã Munhoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jardel da Silveira in the 74th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diogo Cordeiro in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kauã Munhoz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kauã Munhoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diogo Cordeiro in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, André Proença recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kauã Munhoz. André Proença showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. Olímpico FC's Kauã Munhoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo Cordeiro in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Olímpico FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo de Barros came free, but Kauã Munhoz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Emerson Mesquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olímpico FC's Kauã Munhoz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Olímpico FC from getting a goal against them. In the 96th minute André Proença shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kauã Munhoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
