Vânderson Nogueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Sá, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 6 minutes into the match, HollywooDogs's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Sá came free, but Vânderson Nogueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fazul Gol in the 9th minute of play forced Classe A Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Doriva Simão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. HollywooDogs's Gilson Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute of the match Gilson Valle sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Doriva Simão skillfully saved the ball. Doriva Simão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fazul Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After 29 minutes, Murillo Lima mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Classe A Futebol Clube and the HollywooDogs players grew even worse after the yellow card. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Doriva Simão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mete Gøl in the 90th minute of play. Gilson Valle's late challenge caught a Classe A Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilson Valle helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Classe A Futebol Clube booed when HollywooDogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position.
