In the 17th minute, Túlio Hermes made a precise shot to the right of Vito Cearense. ALMA GUERREIRA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After 19 played minutes ALMA GUERREIRA got a freekick which was hit by Genílson Alvarenga. In the 21st match minute, ALMA GUERREIRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvinho Pirani to maneuver through the defense. Vito Cearense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE booed when ALMA GUERREIRA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tião Marinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Edinho Aparecido managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edinho Aparecido was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ALMA GUERREIRA's Vito Cearense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Túlio Hermes in the 53rd minute of play. Vito Vidal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dráusio Valladares, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Fernandinho Neiva lost his temper 56 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 57th minute, Fernandinho Neiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luizão Quirino took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vito Vidal. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Vito Cearense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederico Mattos in the 60th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Genílson Alvarenga during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, ALMA GUERREIRA's Genílson Alvarenga got a free kick in the 62nd minute.
