Raúl Sanches received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Marcelinho Teles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raúl Sanches to make the kick off. Marcelinho Teles was a little too slow when Iuri Tinoco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 2-1. The supporters of Cachaça FC booed when Xapetuba Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fellipe Gaspar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osvaldinho Fernandes scored 3-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anderson de Toledo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 71st match minute, Xapetuba Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raphael Brasil to maneuver through the defense. Anderson de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldinho Fernandes in the 73rd minute of play. Raúl Sanches came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcelinho Teles could save by the left post. Raúl Sanchess short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Marcelinho Teles to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Andrade in the 79th minute of play forced Xapetuba Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Anderson de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cachaça FC's goalkeeper Marcelinho Teles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Enrique de Lima got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Juan Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osvaldinho Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anderson de Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Xapetuba Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Andrade came free, but Anderson de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelinho Teles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raúl Sanches in the 90th minute. Bernardinho Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Cachaça FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
