Lino Araújo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reynaldo Gaspar in the 5th minute. Narciso Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Luiz da Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Minuim SS getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Paulo José Moraes hit a great ball. When AF CERRADO's Maicon Gonçalves in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Minuim SS's goalie prevented a goal. Narciso Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute, Maicon Gonçalves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Narciso Rocha was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When AF CERRADO's Maicon Gonçalves in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Minuim SS's goalie prevented a goal. 20 minutes into the match, Maicon Gonçalves notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Minuim SS's Narciso Rocha. Narciso Rocha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reynaldo Gaspar got free with Lino Araújo in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Minuim SS's Jorginho Zanette got a free kick in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Minuim SS's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Velloso came free, but Narciso Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Minuim SS's Narciso Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maicon Gonçalves in the 27th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Minuim SS got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Mangueira. Gil Velloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claudinho de Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the game, AF CERRADO's André Luiz da Rocha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Narciso Rocha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 39th minute Maicon Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lino Araújo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinho de Souza in the 44th minute of play. Silvério Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvério Cordeiro made a kick off. Silvério Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Lino Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, AF CERRADO's Yan Alves got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 57 minutes into the game, André Luiz da Rocha recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Narciso Rocha. André Luiz da Rocha showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Narciso Rocha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maicon Gonçalves in the 67th minute. When Gil Velloso came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the AF CERRADO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gil Velloso couldn't finish the play. The Minuim SS fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Minuim SS's Reynaldo Gaspar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When AF CERRADO's Severino Alcântara in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Minuim SS's goalie prevented a goal. Lino Araújo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvério Cordeiro in the 96th minute of the match. AF CERRADO's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
