Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hélder Moraes in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Falcão Cabral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 0-1 became the score in the 9th minute when Hélder dos Santos elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Hélder dos Santos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Júlio Tande. Warren FC - DMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hélder dos Santos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 19th minute, Romeu Prado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LauerArmy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Romeu Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Osmar Paraense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of LauerArmy booed when Warren FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olavo Penha didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Romeu Prado put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Júlio Tande. When LauerArmy's Romeu Prado in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romeu Prado was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Warren FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Lucas to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Warren FC - DMZ defense, Waldemar Brodel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Júlio Tande. The Warren FC - DMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Júlio Tande should have stopped the shot. Hamílton Catarinense kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After 58 played minutes, LauerArmy's Vítor Cardozo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Júlio Tande came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in LauerArmy reached it. LauerArmy's Hélder dos Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Warren FC - DMZ's Gino Custódio got a free kick in the 64th minute. Aílton Campidelis scored 0-8 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Júlio Tande, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Vitório Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Júlio Tande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeu Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Aílton Campidelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Tande having to interfere. In the 86th minute Hélder dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Lucas charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erik Lucas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 93 minutes into the game, one of Warren FC - DMZ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave LauerArmy a penalty, 94 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Vítor Cardozo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Warren FC - DMZ's Júlio Tande. 0-9.
