In the 2nd minute, Toninho de Queiroz made a precise shot to the right of Edgar Sabóia. Braga Junior FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Dráuzio de Castro charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dráuzio de Castro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Braga Junior FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Dráuzio de Castro hit a great ball. In the 10th minute Aníbal Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Braga Junior FC's goal looked a bit too open when Toninho de Queiroz came free, but Edgar Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucas Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernandinho Veiga hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Didi Sabóia sped through Braga Junior FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edgar Sabóia. Valdemar Braga kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Laerte da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernandinho Veiga in the 37th minute of the match. Laerte da Silveira made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Lucas Faria sent off a good shot on target. Laerte da Silveira was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Lucas Faria capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lucas Faria really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aníbal Marques to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Olivedos's Aníbal Marques ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edgar Sabóia. Edgar Sabóia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. 61 minutes into the game, Valdemar Braga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olivedos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Braga Junior FC the free kick. After 61 played minutes Olivedos got a freekick which was hit by Valdemar Braga. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas Faria in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laerte da Silveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Fernandinho Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute Lucas Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laerte da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Olivedos getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Valdemar Braga hit a great ball. Edgar Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aníbal Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Braga Junior FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Edgar do Valle hit a great ball. In the 77th match minute, Braga Junior FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernandinho Veiga to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliézer Montenegro in the 80th minute of play forced Braga Junior FC's goalkeeper Edgar Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laerte da Silveira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucas Faria's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. In the 95th minute, Toninho de Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
