Luís Fabiano Mesquita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 48th minute, Falcão Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Flavinho Abraão was the one to do the kick off. Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's Luís Fabiano Mesquita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG from getting a goal against them. Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavinho Abraão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcinho Marques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
