One of Melbourne 007:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Harry Cool:s goal. In the 17th minute Arnie Kenack shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jasmine Kuch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jasmine Kuch came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Harry Cool's Bryanne Skittrall. But to his dismay, Bryanne Skittrall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 21st minute, Arnie Kenack ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jasmine Kuch was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Melbourne 007's Ben Bower got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jasmine Kuch came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Harry Cool's Arnie Kenack. But to his dismay, Arnie Kenack quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. In the 39th minute, Ed Bonnison left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Harry Cool fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. Jasmine Kuch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bryanne Skittrall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The supporters of Harry Cool booed when Melbourne 007 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zackery Hanslow didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Arnie Kenack took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Jasmine Kuch to make any attempt to save it. Arnie Kenack was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 63rd minute. Harry Cool's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 65th match minute, Harry Cool was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bryanne Skittrall to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Melbourne 007 defense, Dani Clack kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jasmine Kuch. The Melbourne 007 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jasmine Kuch should have stopped the shot. Jasmine Kuch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John King in the 86th minute of play. John King blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jasmine Kuch having to make a save. In the 90th match minute, Harry Cool was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dani Clack to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Jackson Berresford in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Harry Cool's Arnie Potter. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Harry Cool walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
