Diego Di Massimo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eraldo Monaco went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 13thth minute of the game Felice Schiacciacasse who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CLC Winter's Diego Di Massimo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arturo Vitucci kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After 22 minutes, Ennio Musso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CLC Winter and the Glasgow Rangers FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Ennio Musso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, Glasgow Rangers FC's Arturo Vitucci sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diego Di Massimo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A wasted opportunity for Glasgow Rangers FC. The audience was convinced that Felice Schiacciacasse's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diego Di Massimo was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. A collision led to Glasgow Rangers FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Dennis Lio hit a great ball. If Eraldo Monaco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The CLC Winter players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Glasgow Rangers FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cosimo Epifani to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eraldo Monaco got free with Diego Di Massimo in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diego Di Massimo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 53rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. In the 59th minute Cosimo Epifani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulvio Belfiore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dennis Lio's late challenge caught a CLC Winter's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dennis Lio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th match minute, Glasgow Rangers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Lio to maneuver through the defense. Glasgow Rangers FC made a substitution. Ferruccio Sabatini replaced Alvise De Leonardis. Dennis Lio kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Comunardo Zollino in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diego Di Massimo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Eraldo Monaco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Claudio Zabalo's late challenge caught a Glasgow Rangers FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudio Zabalo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to CLC Winter getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Claudio Zabalo hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Comunardo Zollino in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diego Di Massimo saved CLC Winter from getting behind. If Cosimo Epifani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The CLC Winter supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Glasgow Rangers FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Glasgow Rangers FC.
