After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Grégory Longin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olympique Salonais's supporters rose to their feet, but Grégory Longin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Sebille breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Olympique Salonais defense, Emmanuel Deleuze kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Terry Grenot. The Olympique Salonais fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Terry Grenot should have stopped the shot. After 10 minutes, Karl Plaza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olympique Salonais and the klide13 players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of klide13 booed when Olympique Salonais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl Plaza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 14 played minutes Olympique Salonais got a freekick which was hit by Lamine Barbarin. Terry Grenot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jérôme Couvelard, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, Olympique Salonais's Mike Debruyne seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mike Debruyne the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Olympique Salonais protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mike Debruyne had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Olympique Salonais fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! After 23 played minutes klide13 got a freekick which was hit by Renaud Decaudin. After 27 played minutes Olympique Salonais got a freekick which was hit by Florian Amouroux. In the 36th minute, Renaud Decaudin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jérôme Couvelard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Terry Grenot having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The supporters of Olympique Salonais booed when klide13 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renaud Decaudin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the game, Renaud Decaudin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Terry Grenot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Lamine Barbarin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. klide13 made a substitution. Éloi Artus replaced Emmanuel Deleuze. Olympique Salonais made a substitution. Nolan Certain replaced Grégory Longin. After a rather tough play, Olympique Salonais's Florian Amouroux got a free kick in the 89th minute. When Lamine Barbarin came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Olympique Salonais fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lamine Barbarin couldn't finish the play. klide13's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
