In the 12th minute Ezequiel Pero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Librado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jesus Gartxot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeremias Cordario in the 17th minute. Ezequiel Pero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristobal Nerio hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the game, Ezequiel Pero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Racing Club's Jesus Gartxot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Racing Club from getting a goal against them. Jonatan Librado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ezequiel Pero went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 42 minutes into the match, Cavaliers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Jago came free, but Jonatan Librado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jesus Gartxot made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Julian Turi sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Atilano Millan got a free kick in the 46th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angelo Markel to make the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Urbano Jago who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cavaliers FC's Jonatan Librado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Racing Club booed when Cavaliers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Markel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ezequiel Pero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jonatan Librado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urbano Jago ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonatan Librado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbano Jago in the 66th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Uriel Efraim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cavaliers FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Racing Club's Jeronimo Eutropio suffered a sore thigh after 72 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Uriel Efraim charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uriel Efraim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Racing Club made a substitution. Claudio Venceslas replaced Jeronimo Eutropio.
