The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaume Balcazar during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Manuel Rodríguez 1186's zone, Paulino Achondo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Marrodan came out of the goal and Paulino Achondo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alexandre Marrodan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulino Achondo's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Alexandre Marrodan didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when CSD Concepción's Paulino Achondo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Giancarlo Villanueva's late challenge caught a Manuel Rodríguez 1186's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giancarlo Villanueva helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Manuel Rodríguez 1186 booed when CSD Concepción was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Rodríguez 1186's Alexandre Marrodan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frances Gacitúa in the 51st minute of play. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Paulino Achondo sped through Manuel Rodríguez 1186's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alexandre Marrodan. In the 60th minute, Frances Gacitúa fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulino Achondo in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexandre Marrodan saved Manuel Rodríguez 1186 from getting behind. With a little luck, Manuel Rodríguez 1186's Alexandre Marrodan got control of the ball when Frances Gacitúa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 65th minute, Frances Gacitúa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexandre Marrodan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. 69 minutes into the match, Manuel Rodríguez 1186's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Achondo came free, but Alexandre Marrodan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CSD Concepción's Teofilo Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Alexandre Marrodan managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when CSD Concepción's Paulino Achondo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frances Gacitúa in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandre Marrodan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paulino Achondo in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alexandre Marrodan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Alexandre Marrodan made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Paulino Achondo sent off a good shot on target. Teofilo Barros hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Paulino Achondo charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulino Achondo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 82 played minutes CSD Concepción got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Achondo. Paulino Achondo scored 0-7 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexandre Marrodan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexandre Marrodan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Barros in the 91st minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Frances Gacitúa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alexandre Marrodan, 0-8. When the final whistle sounded CSD Concepción left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Manuel Rodríguez 1186.
