The supporters of U. de Tarapacá booed when Barrabases de Victoria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. When Octavio Parro came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Barrabases de Victoria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octavio Parro couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blanco Paris in the 85th minute of play forced Barrabases de Victoria's goalkeeper Candido Ustariz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Claudio Agnese fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barrabases de Victoria's protests and gave Claudio Agnese a yellow card for diving instead. After 87 played minutes Barrabases de Victoria got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Agnese. Barrabases de Victoria made a substitution. Reinaldo Pagueguy replaced Brian Illescas. Claudio Agnese hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Blanco Paris struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Candido Ustariz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U. de Tarapacá. With his leg Mariano Talledo managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Barrabases de Victoria's Reinaldo Pagueguy fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Barrabases de Victoria players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
