Spectators: 170 (Terracing: 128, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Salomone Moxo took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes Zorros del Desierto got a freekick which was hit by Zelipe Claro. Topocho Larrañeta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Almi in the 7th minute. A collision led to Vicente Perez Rosales getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Matias Soto hit a great ball. A collision led to Vicente Perez Rosales getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Carlos Hernán Barroso hit a great ball. Luchito Fuentes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Topocho Larrañeta. Vicente Perez Rosales's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Camilo Pino received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Topocho Larrañeta came out and tried to block the shot, but Camilo Pino slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. In the 17th match minute, Zorros del Desierto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Basulto to maneuver through the defense. Topocho Larrañeta was at the wrong place when Camilo Pino in the 23rd minute shot the ball in the right cross to 2-0. With a little luck, Vicente Perez Rosales's Topocho Larrañeta got control of the ball when Marco-Antonio Figueroa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marco-Antonio Figueroa had several of the Vicente Perez Rosales's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 28 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Topocho Larrañeta as he didn't even see the shot coming. Topocho Larrañeta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco-Antonio Figueroa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benito Bastidas in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abelardo Escerza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th minute Paulo Almi suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Benito Bastidas charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benito Bastidas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zorros del Desierto made a substitution. Saturnino Albrecht replaced Paulo Almi. Benito Bastidas hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zelipe Claro got free with Topocho Larrañeta in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 39 minutes Vicente Perez Rosales's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luchito Fuentes who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Zorros del Desierto's Luchito Fuentes to fire away a dangerous shot which Topocho Larrañeta despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafael Basulto during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Vicente Perez Rosales booed when Zorros del Desierto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Basulto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Desiderio Hetz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Abelardo Escerza. Zorros del Desierto's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marco-Antonio Figueroa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Camilo Pino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zorros del Desierto's supporters rose to their feet, but Camilo Pino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Topocho Larrañeta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Vicente Perez Rosales defense, Marco-Antonio Figueroa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Topocho Larrañeta. The Vicente Perez Rosales fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Topocho Larrañeta should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Marco-Antonio Figueroa made the kick off in the second half. Topocho Larrañeta came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Zorros del Desierto's Marco-Antonio Figueroa. But to his dismay, Marco-Antonio Figueroa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After 66 played minutes, Zorros del Desierto's Luchito Fuentes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Topocho Larrañeta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zorros del Desierto reached it. In the 69th match minute, Vicente Perez Rosales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Menéndez Sigorraga to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Hermenegildo Balboa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Topocho Larrañeta was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. A collision led to Zorros del Desierto getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Luchito Fuentes hit a great ball. A long shot from Desiderio Hetz in the 75th minute of play was well struck, but Abelardo Escerza made a really good save at the right post. Camilo Pino scored 7-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Topocho Larrañeta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Zorros del Desierto getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Rafael Basulto hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Camilo Pino in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Topocho Larrañeta saved Vicente Perez Rosales from getting behind. In the 99th minute, Hermenegildo Balboa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zorros del Desierto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. There was no doubt that Zorros del Desierto were the better team. Zorros del Desierto's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
