Mesterháza's Máté Orosz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Mesterháza from getting a goal against them. Károly Sebes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dániel Sárkány in the 8th minute of the match. When Rómeó Mészáros came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Mesterháza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rómeó Mészáros couldn't finish the play. In the 14th minute, Alfonz Berényi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Máté Orosz. The goal made the score 1-0. Alfonz Berényi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Máté Orosz firmly grabbed it by the left post. Boldizsár Boldinger blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Máté Orosz having to make a save. The supporters of Mesterháza booed when Szajk LC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boldizsár Boldinger didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Mesterháza's goalkeeper Máté Orosz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfonz Berényi. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonz Berényi got free with Máté Orosz in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute Alfonz Berényi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máté Orosz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Máté Orosz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boldizsár Boldinger in the 31st minute of the match. Alfonz Berényi succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 33rd playminute. Alfonz Berényi didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 4-0 via right post in the game's 36th minute. Szajk LC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! In the 41st minute György Udvari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máté Orosz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Szajk LC defense, Lajos Majoros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Károly Sebes. The Szajk LC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Károly Sebes should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Mesterháza's Rajmund Benke got a free kick in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfonz Berényi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Máté Orosz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonz Berényi, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 53 minutes of play, Szajk LC's Alfonz Berényi made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Máté Orosz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 57th minute, Alfonz Berényi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Máté Orosz was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. In the 60th minute, Lajos Majoros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, Mesterháza's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonz Berényi came free, but Máté Orosz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 minutes of play, Szajk LC's Alfonz Berényi made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Máté Orosz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 69 minutes into the match, Mesterháza's goal looked a bit too open when György Udvari came free, but Máté Orosz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Máté Orosz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonz Berényi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfonz Berényi hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Mesterháza's Máté Orosz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonz Berényi in the 80th minute of play. Máté Orosz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonz Berényi in the 86th minute of play. Boldizsár Boldinger took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Máté Orosz. Mesterháza's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Szajk LC's Károly Sebes got control of the ball when Lajos Majoros tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 94th match minute, Mesterháza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rómeó Mészáros to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonz Berényi in the 96th minute of play forced Mesterháza's goalkeeper Máté Orosz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Szajk LC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mesterháza had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
