The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 15 minutes into the match, György Hidegkúti dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gábor Vadas, 2-0. With an all-out effort, Keszi Athletic's Gábor Vadas threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from György Hidegkúti, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 21st minute Félix Pénzes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dénes Medgyesi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. György Hidegkúti scored 3-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gábor Vadas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Levente Hollósi could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Gábor Vadas however easily saved by the left post. Lukács Tímár's late challenge caught a Rákóczifalva SE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lukács Tímár helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Keszi Athletic getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Lukács Tímár hit a great ball. Dénes Medgyesi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ákos Bökönyi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gábor Vadas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Levente Hollósi in the 37th minute. Dávid Ambrus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dénes Medgyesi having to interfere. Gábor Vadas was a little too slow when Dániel Ábrahám got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Rákóczifalva SE's Gábor Vadas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by György Hidegkúti in the 55th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Dávid Ambrus made a precise shot to the right of Dénes Medgyesi. Keszi Athletic's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. A collision led to Keszi Athletic getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Ádám Miklós hit a great ball. Péter Bencsik hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Sándor Berényi from long distance, 67 minutes into the match, got Dénes Medgyesi's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 70 minutes into the game, Keszi Athletic's Krisztián Erdei nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gábor Vadas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. After a rather tough play, Keszi Athletic's Krisztián Erdei got a free kick in the 72nd minute. The supporters of Keszi Athletic booed when Rákóczifalva SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Endre Dénes didn't get a good kick on the ball. György Hidegkúti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Máté Csank's late challenge caught a Keszi Athletic's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Máté Csank helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of Rákóczifalva SE:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Keszi Athletic:s goal. The supporters of Rákóczifalva SE booed when Keszi Athletic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. György Hidegkúti didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Keszi Athletic fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rákóczifalva SE had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
