Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) After a rather tough play, Kukova United's Matej Bajus got a free kick in the 3rd minute. FC Melon's Peter Ďurica took a good shot, in the 4th minute, which hit the crossbar above Stano Cisár's head, and flew over the goal. Kukova United's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by FC Melon. In the 7th match minute, Kukova United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Róbert Fischer to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute, Matej Horvát hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dušan Hríb came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Kukova United's Ladislav Zemko. But to his dismay, Ladislav Zemko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some careless play in the FC Melon defense, Andrej Čistý kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dušan Hríb. The FC Melon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dušan Hríb should have stopped the shot. Dušan Hríb stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrej Čistý's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. 34 minutes into the game, Kukova United's Ladislav Zemko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dušan Hríb made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Dušan Hríb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislav Zemko in the 42nd minute of play. Dušan Hríb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marek Karafiát, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute Marek Karafiát shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dušan Hríb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Andrej Čistý cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Dušan Hríb was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Kukova United were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some careless play in the FC Melon defense, Róbert Fischer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dušan Hríb. The FC Melon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dušan Hríb should have stopped the shot. Marek Karafiát succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-7 in the 58th playminute. In the 62nd minute Matúš Cuprák shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dušan Hríb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Andrej Čistý recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dušan Hríb. Andrej Čistý showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. After a rather tough play, FC Melon's Boris Salaj got a free kick in the 69th minute. Dušan Hríb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislav Zemko, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Stano Cisár didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peter Ďurica went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-8 was the resulting score. Kukova United's Stanislav Marček was substituted for Matúš Cuprák. 87 minutes into the match, FC Melon's goal looked a bit too open when Andrej Čistý came free, but Dušan Hríb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dušan Hríb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislav Zemko in the 88th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Dušan Hríb successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ladislav Zemko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Dušan Hríb made a huge save. Kukova United played a much better game than FC Melon and deserved their victory. The FC Melon players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
