Alan Young sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luke Bush took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Drake, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Franz Midgley put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Hannes Sandwall. Franz Midgley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hannes Sandwall having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Hannes Sandwall successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 22nd minute Franz Midgley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hannes Sandwall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 minutes of play, Leicester Foxes Academy's Alan Young made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luke Bush was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luke Bush showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Gol in the 30th minute of the match. In the 36thth minute of the game Franz Midgley who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leicester Foxes Academy's Hannes Sandwall was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 39 minutes into the match, T H F C's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Drake came free, but Luke Bush reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in T H F C's zone, Felipe Gol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luke Bush came out of the goal and Felipe Gol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute of the match T H F C got a corner. Leicester Foxes Academy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Gillow ran over to the corner to take the kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Franz Midgley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to T H F C getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Matt Friend hit a great ball. Hannes Sandwall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franz Midgley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luke Bush stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Drake's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Hannes Sandwall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franz Midgley in the 58th minute of the match. If Franz Midgley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leicester Foxes Academy were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after T H F C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Niles Andrews took the corner. The audience was convinced that Franz Midgley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hannes Sandwall was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Martin Ericsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orson Billington replaced Donny Beckwith. T H F C were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Leicester Foxes Academy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Gillow took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Gillow got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hannes Sandwall quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The crowd rose to their feet as Felipe Gol kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luke Bush. That made the score 1-4 in the 85 minute of play. After a rather tough play, T H F C's Dave Hartley got a free kick in the 96th minute.
