Korona Kielce's attentive Niculae Biriș managed to snatch the ball when Trey Hughes-Guy made a throw-in in the 31st minute of the game. The corner ended in Dave Legzdins almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Goo Goo Dolls's Benjamin Cuss did a great save. After a rather tough play, Goo Goo Dolls's Matteo Gillis got a free kick in the 56th minute. Benjamin Cuss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agostinho Negri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agostinho Negri might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benjamin Cuss. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agostinho Negri ran back to his position shaking his head. Alex Macedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benjamin Cuss. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alex Macedo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 88th minute Alex Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Cuss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peng Ming Peng charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peng Ming Peng the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 96 minutes, Dom Rusby managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goo Goo Dolls's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dom Rusby was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Goo Goo Dolls players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Korona Kielce.
