Pavlos Fotiadis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 6 minutes into the match, Cyprus Eagles AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nikos Stavrou came free, but Pavlos Fotiadis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Lipochσrion FC booed when Cyprus Eagles AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charalambos Karathanasiou didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Cyprus Eagles AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alketas Klanakis came free, but Pavlos Fotiadis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 minutes, Markos Chatzinathanail mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cyprus Eagles AFC and the Lipochσrion FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute, Nikos Stavrou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lipochσrion FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The audience was convinced that Nikos Stavrou's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pavlos Fotiadis was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Charalambos Karathanasiou hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Cyprus Eagles AFC defense, Nikos Stavrou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pavlos Fotiadis. The Cyprus Eagles AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pavlos Fotiadis should have stopped the shot. When Iraklis Akrivakis fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lipochσrion FC's protests and gave Iraklis Akrivakis a yellow card for diving instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Konstantinos Ikonomopoulos during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Konstantinos Ikonomopoulos hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Theagenis Giannou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konstantinos Ikonomopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 minutes of play, Lipochσrion FC's Nikos Stavrou made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pavlos Fotiadis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Theagenis Giannou made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Leonidas Stathis sent off a good shot on target. 42 minutes into the match, Lipochσrion FC's goal looked a bit too open when Markos Katselis came free, but Theagenis Giannou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Cyprus Eagles AFC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Markos Chatzinathanail hit a great ball. Pavlos Fotiadis came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Lipochσrion FC's Fanis Peros. But to his dismay, Fanis Peros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aggelos Kasmiris stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Lipochσrion FC's Nikos Stavrou dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Theagenis Giannou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aggelos Kasmiris, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Nikos Stavrou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pavlos Fotiadis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Lipochσrion FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fanis Peros in the 61st minute. Nikos Stavrou blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pavlos Fotiadis having to make a save. Lipochσrion FC's Fanis Peros was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pavlos Fotiadis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Aggelos Kasmiris fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cyprus Eagles AFC's protests and gave Aggelos Kasmiris a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cyprus Eagles AFC's Aggelos Kasmiris got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 95 minutes into the game, Nikos Stavrou recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pavlos Fotiadis. When the match was over Lipochσrion FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cyprus Eagles AFC throughout the match.
