Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Themos Leontiadis to make the kick off. Enrique Mouricios short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Erik Vale to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Mouricio got free with Erik Vale in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd match minute, Panionios MK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonis Linardakis to maneuver through the defense. Roger Flor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute Gao Yong Zhen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
