The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Laziali's Avgustin Yochev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Brask in the 5th minute of play. Krasimir Mishovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Rix in the 8th minute of the match. Milosz Bartocha hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th match minute, Laziali was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitomir Piralkov to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th match minute, Lokomotiv Plovdiv was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mirolyub Dragoychev to maneuver through the defense. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Krasimir Mishovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kosta Kúnov in the 16th minute of play. In the 20th minute Sven Brask shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avgustin Yochev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven Brask fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Avgustin Yochev having to interfere. Krasimir Mishovski made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Darin Gladichev sent off a good shot on target. Laziali's Avgustin Yochev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Brask in the 32nd minute of play. With a little luck, Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Krasimir Mishovski got control of the ball when Darin Gladichev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Krasimir Mishovski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Avgustin Yochev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven Brask in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Veliko Stefchov in the 37th minute of play forced Lokomotiv Plovdiv's goalkeeper Krasimir Mishovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Krasimir Mishovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Rix, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Darin Gladichev to strike the kick off in the second half. Krasimir Mishovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Rix, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Veliko Stefchov in the 56th minute of play forced Lokomotiv Plovdiv's goalkeeper Krasimir Mishovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sándor Markovits got free with Avgustin Yochev in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lokomotiv Plovdiv were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Laziali's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jordi Alba took the corner. The corner led Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Jordi Alba to fire away a dangerous shot which Avgustin Yochev despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 81st match minute Jordi Alba ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Avgustin Yochev. 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Lokomotiv Plovdiv's zone, Ramiro da Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Krasimir Mishovski came out of the goal and Ramiro da Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute, Bobi Batov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute of the match Jordi Alba sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Avgustin Yochev skillfully saved the ball. Laziali's Thomas Rix got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sándor Markovits sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
