In the 15th minute Oscar Havier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Velimir Popchev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Van Halen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Doychin Konsulov in the 18th minute. Velimir Popchev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Havier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner went over the outstretched arms of VN Keleler's goalie and right to Christiaan Enskens. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. VN Keleler's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Hermínio Peres's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Velimir Popchev firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Havier in the 63rd minute of play forced VN Keleler's goalkeeper Velimir Popchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
