FC Schonebeck's Lance Malliouris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Todor in the 5th minute of play. After 6 played minutes FC Schonebeck got a freekick which was hit by Michael Laudrup. In the 7th minute, Zvonimir Prestin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PoWer SC 2K5 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Lance Malliouris stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zvonimir Prestin's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. After a rather tough play, PoWer SC 2K5's Kai Förster got a free kick in the 10th minute. David Rotariu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Paul Some. After having played for 12 minutes, Zvonimir Prestin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PoWer SC 2K5's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zvonimir Prestin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to FC Schonebeck getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Boris Spengler hit a great ball. David Rotariu made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Bengt Persson sent off a good shot on target. FC Schonebeck's Lance Malliouris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Todor in the 21st minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, PoWer SC 2K5's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt Persson came free, but David Rotariu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute FC Schonebeck were awarded a corner. Paul Some went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 30th match minute, FC Schonebeck was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt Persson to maneuver through the defense. Anselm Hayer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but David Rotariu made a huge save. When PoWer SC 2K5's Zvonimir Prestin in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Schonebeck's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 39 minutes, Mustafa Ekrem Avşar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bengt Perssons short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got David Rotariu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bengt Persson made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Hector Todor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lance Malliouris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Rotariu came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Schonebeck's Anselm Hayer. But to his dismay, Anselm Hayer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt Persson in the 67th minute of play forced PoWer SC 2K5's goalkeeper David Rotariu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Schonebeck's Lance Malliouris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Todor in the 69th minute of play. David Rotariu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt Persson, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The FC Schonebeck fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when FC Schonebeck's Lothar Drinkard looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hector Todors short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Lance Malliouris to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
