Bastian Abel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Överman, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute, Mirko Saßmannshausen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fredo Rösch. The goal made the score 3-0.

Oriano Junco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bastian Abel having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Wolfram Mattheis notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Hornbosteler SV's Fredo Rösch.
