Victor Lucila started the match with the kick off. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Florin Ciorobîtcă managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mao Shu Gang in the 3 minute of the game. When Florin Ciorobîtcă fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's protests and gave Florin Ciorobîtcă a yellow card for diving instead. Florin Ciorobîtcă kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the game, Alexandria Team08's Zhou nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dinu Oardă made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Dinu Oardă made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Zhou sent off a good shot on target. Mao Shu Gang made in the 17th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Zhou immediately put the ball in play. Zhou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Dinu Oardă made a huge save. Dinu Oardă was a little too slow when Basarab Panciu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Liviu Frumușanu in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Panait Frânculescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhou in the 28th minute of play forced MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goalkeeper Dinu Oardă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Alexandria Team08's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ernest Oprescu took the corner. After taking down the ball on MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's corner Ernest Oprescu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Panait Frânculescu quite easily take care of the ball. In the 33rdth minute of the game Liviu Frumușanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alexandria Team08's Panait Frânculescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Liviu Frumușanu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Dinu Oardă got control of the ball when Zhou tried to sneak it across the goal line. The throw-in from Mao Shu Gang in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Edwin 雷岩. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhou in the 41st minute of play forced MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goalkeeper Dinu Oardă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Albano Sergi was slow to take the kick. During this time Alexandria Team08's players had a chance to rest. Zhou hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Alexandria Team08's Faustão Abraão dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Faustão Abraão made a kick off. Zhou struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Dinu Oardă didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alexandria Team08. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustão Abraão in the 57th minute of play forced MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goalkeeper Dinu Oardă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernest Oprescu in the 58th minute of play forced Alexandria Team08's goalkeeper Panait Frânculescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandria Team08 made a substitution. Péter Bánhegyi replaced Maxim Constantinescu. A collision led to MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Mădălin Bărbuceanu hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goal looked a bit too open when Basarab Panciu came free, but Dinu Oardă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edwin 雷岩 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute Basarab Panciu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinu Oardă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dinu Oardă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marin Dică, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marin Dică in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dinu Oardă saved MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV from getting behind. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Dinu Oardă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Péter Bánhegyi in the 74th minute of play. Panait Frânculescu made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Victor Lucila sent off a good shot on target. If Basarab Panciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 86 played minutes MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV got a freekick which was hit by Edwin 雷岩. An unexpectedly hard shot by Péter Bánhegyi in the 89th minute of play forced MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goalkeeper Dinu Oardă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Péter Bánhegyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinu Oardă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Péter Bánhegyi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alexandria Team08 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Dinu Oardă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basarab Panciu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basarab Panciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinu Oardă having to interfere.
